With this route it is proposed to visit the main places of the Garajonay National Park. To do this, we start in Agulo, in order to be able to go first to the Game Information Center for Balls, where we will have a first perspective of the Park. The route will start from there, along the western part of Garajonay, with views of Vallehermoso, and through the Laguna Grande, always in the direction of Alto de Garajonay. Then we will descend by the east side, towards the Bailadero and the Hermitages of Lourdes and Our Lady of Guadalupe, before taking the road towards San Sebastián de la Gomera.
There are four National Parks with which the Canary Islands, all declared World Heritage by Unesco. The Timanfaya National Park is in Lanzarote and is eminently volcanic. The Teide National Park is located in Tenerife and has the highest summit in Spain, the Teide. The Garajonay National Park is in La Gomera and is an ecosystem that dates back to the Tertiary Era, as well as having the most representative sample of Canarian laurisilva. The National Park of the Caldera de Taburiente, finally, is located in La Palma and is formed by a circus of 8 kms. of diameter in the form of boiler.
